The Geoffrey Young Gallery is pleased to present "The Place of Things," a three-person show featuring the paintings and drawings of Joshua Marsh, the "longitude-location" paintings of Mike Glier, and new black and white photographs of complex spaces by James Welling.
How do we know place? How do things alter, or define, the place in which we find them? How does artistic feeling about things and places provide insight into representation? Come find out.
Marsh lives in West Chester, PA, and teaches at the Philadelphia Academy of Art. Glier teaches at Williams College, and lives in Hoosick Falls, NY. And James Welling lives in Los Angeles, and teaches at UCLA.

There will be a reception November 10th, 5:30-7:30, to which all are invited.
Gallery Hours: Friday-Sunday, 11-5.
