“Tastes Like Chicken” Art Show

Geoffrey Young Gallery presents TASTES LIKE CHICKEN, October 22 --November 14, 2004, and a POETRY READING, October 23rd.

The GeoffreyYoung Gallery is proud to announce the opening of its next group show, "Tastes Like Chicken," which will feature the drawings, paintings & photographs of Dennis McLeod, Morgan Bulkeley, Oona Ratcliffe, Warren Isensee, Paul Carpenter, James Franklin, David Humphrey, James Welling, Robby Rose, Neil Whitacre, & Donald Baechler, in what should be a free-for-all of visual challenge and delectation. Additional artist showing are: Greg Amenoff, David Dupuis, Cary Smith, Lynton Wells, Brock Enright, Mark Flores, Yuri Masnyj, Dominic McGill, Erik Parker, Will Duty, D-L Alvarez, Johnathan Neals, Paolo Arao, Satoru Eguchi, Dan Zeller.

A reception will take place Friday evening, October 22nd, from 5:30-7:30.
All are welcome.

On Saturday, October 23rd, the gallery will host a poetry reading by
celebrated English poet Tony Lopez, author of False Memory (Salt), and one
of Language Poetry's founding fathers, Bob Perelman, author of The Future of Memory (Roof Books), and Ten to One (Wesleyan). Lopez teaches at the
University of Plymouth, and Perelman the University of Pennsylvania. The
reading is free and open to the public, and starts at 5:30.
