"ULTIMATE CONCERN"
May 28th to June 18th, 2005

The Geoffrey Young Gallery reopens its 14th season with a three-person show, "ULTIMATE CONCERN," from May 28th to June 18th, featuring the work of Kirsten Deirup, Benjamin Degen, and Josh Dorman, three exciting young New York artists.

Each of these artists has appeared in many group shows and solo exhibitions, both here in the Berkshires as well as in New York City, and will be represented by paintings and drawings. Deirup explores the boundary where imagination meets the grotesque, Degen focuses on the intersection of the rustic and the sublime, and Dorman improvises new worlds on vintage maps.

The opening reception will be Saturday, May 28th from 5:30-7:30 pm.

Gallery hours for the first show are: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 11 am - 5 pm.
