A native Californian and former merchant seaman, Mark Terrill was a participant in Paul Bowles' writing workshop in Tangier, Morocco, and has lived in Germany since 1984 where he has worked as a shipyard welder, road manager for bands, cook and postal worker. His poems, prose and translations have appeared widely in the U.S. and abroad.
